It’s that time of the month again when my subscriptions come to the door for me, and because it’s December, it makes them feel more like a present.
My Glossybox has arrived!
Mince pies and starry skies! How very seasonal, and what a pretty box. I’ve eaten too many mince pies this month already but half of me was hoping that there was a mince pie inside the box. Sometimes you get chocolate, so why not a mince pie?
As usual it was gorgeously wrapped inside.
I love how they make the little sticker match with the box, I think that’s neat.
The box didn’t contain a mince pie, but it did contain a three-pack of Raffaelo chocolates!
Which is a bit of a bummer for me, because I have a nut allergy and these have got almonds in. The chocolates have been re-homed (eaten) by someone who isn’t allergic to nuts, so that’s all good.
As for the non-edible products that were inside, this is what’s in the box this month:
- Naobay Equlibria Gel to Milk Cleanser
- Laqa & Co Cloud Lips in Daydream
- Soaper Duper Reach and Creamy Shea Butter Body Wash
- Model Co 3D Lash Primer
- Steve Laurant Precision Tip Eyeliner
I’ll be reviewing the Naobay cleanser and the Soaper Duper body wash in the next couple of weeks, when I’ve had a chance to try them out properly and not just once, but initial impressions are positive. The Cloud Lips is a perfect colour on me, and we will see if it survives a whole day out on Saturday – it claims to ‘stay put until the end of the party’. I’d like to see if it can stay put for a whole day out in London!
Lash primer and liquid eyeliner are two things I use anyway, but I’ve not used these brands before, so it will be interesting to see if they’re good enough to tear me away from my Smashbox lash primer and my MAC liquid eyeliner. I’ll be testing them out on Saturday too.
So a nice box this month, with lots of things I will use. And another lovely box that I can use to store craft materials in. It was nice to get this little gift, seeing as most of the things that arrive at my door in December are for other people (Amazon – solving all my present problems again). And if I really want to, I can think of this as an early Christmas present.
Did any of you get the Glossybox this month? What do you think of what’s inside?
